| The Sea Otter
Classic is a fast-paced, four day bike festival featuring pro and
amateur races, an expo of the industry's newest products, and nearly
100 activities geared towards cyclists. During the 2002 event, the
Sea Otter Classic counted 60,000 onsite participants and several hundred
thousand virtual visitors. As the event's Web Communications Manager,
I coordinated with a team of four journalists and two photographers
to determine each day's articles and photos, ranging from product
reviews to rider profiles, to be posted to the site every evening.
On average, four stories complete with supporting images were posted
to the site each day. |
